February 4, 2008Why Does It Take So Long?I've written before about why authors expect (not unreasonably) that it should not take too long to get a revised manuscript typeset and printed. Rachel Donadio offers another look at the same topic here, explaining that while technology can make things fast, people, geography, planning and distribution can still take a long time.
